Obituary of Geraldine Popkivich

Geraldine Popkivich, age 82, of Washington, NJ passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.  She was born February 25, 1940, to the late Lillian Joy Walters and the late William Henry Walters, Sr., of Pottsville, Pa.  

Geraldine attended Holy Cross Catholic School located in Harrison, NJ. She worked in sales over the past fifty years, during which she won many sales awards.  Her most recent sales position was as a floor manager at Kohls in Hackettstown, NJ.

Geraldine is survived by three of her four sons; Gene, Gerald, Christopher and 13 grandchildren. She was a widow of her first husband, Gene Gregory Sr., and her second husband, William Popkivich. 

Geraldine liked to spend her time playing computer games, gardening, shopping and she especially enjoyed helping women coordinate their wardrobes.  Most of all, Geraldine loved spending time with her family and friends.

Geraldine will be forever missed by her sisters, Kathleen Walters of NJ, Dolores Cherichella of SC, Juleann Walters of CA; her only brother, William Henry Walters, Jr. of PA and her beloved companion, John Kunzman.

Geraldine is predeceased by her first husband, Gene Gregory Sr. and her second husband, William Popkivich, and her youngest son, Michael Gregory.  

Relatives and friends may gather on Monday, December 5th at Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service, located at 142 West Washington Avenue, Washington NJ, 08809, from 2:00 pm until the service of remembrance starts at 2:30 pm.
