Obituary of Josae Kandiah Wilson

Josae Kandiah Wilson, 54, of Washington, New Jersey, passed away on October 15, 2025, in Brunswick, Georgia.
Born on February 22, 1971, in Newark, New Jersey, Josae was the beloved son of Pamela E. (née Saunders) Tillman and Joseph Jacobs. A lifelong learner, he earned his master’s degrees in business administration and organizational management. He built a distinguished career in management consulting, serving as a Senior Program Manager. Known for his professionalism, calm leadership, and dedication, Josae guided many teams to success and earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike.
On March 5, 1993, Josae married the love of his life, Satoko Wilson. Together they shared more than 32 years of marriage filled with love, partnership, and devotion. He was a proud and caring father to his two sons, Kenneth and Kai Wilson, who were the light of his life.
Beyond his professional achievements, Josae gave back to his community as a volunteer basketball coach for local high school students. His players and fellow coaches will remember his patience, encouragement, and the positive example he set both on and off the court.
Josae had a curious mind and a wide range of passions. He enjoyed woodworking, exploring Japanese language and culture, watching classic Kung Fu movies, and studying world history. A devoted fan of both basketball and football, he found joy in the energy of the game and the camaraderie it inspired.
He was God’s warrior throughout his life, praying through many of life’s challenges. His love and compassion will never be forgotten as he spent his life always reaching out to people with readiness to help and support their needs.
He is survived by his loving wife, Satoko; his sons, Kenneth and Kai; his brother, Xavier Wilson; and his cherished nieces and nephew, Xaviera, Avante, and Cheyenne Wilson.He was predeceased by his brother, Jerry Randall, his grandmother, Margaret Randall, his father Joseph Jacobs, and his mother, Pamela Tillman.
A memorial service celebrating Josae’s life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Washington Alliance Church, 2112 NJ-57, Washington, NJ 07882.
Josae will be remembered for his warmth, integrity, honesty, humor, and the unwavering love he had for his family, friends and community. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
