Obituary of Donald Thompson

Donald E. Thompson 76 of Oxford, NJ passed away on October 17, 2013 in Easton Hospital. Born on October 21,1936 to the late Elwood Thompson and Catherine H. Hassmer Thompson in Washington, NJ. He was employed at Oxford Textile as a textile worker for 45 years. He also was a driver for Advance Auto Parts. He served in the US Army. He was an avid Juke box collector and loved 50-60's music. He was a classic car enthusiast and avid steam rail fan. He was member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Washington, NJ. He is survived by his son Donald Scott and his wife Janice of Harmony, NJ. His son Mark Patrick and his wife Ida of Washington, NJ. His daughter Lori and her husband Robert Burke of Harmony, NJ. His brother Williiam and sisters Dolores, Catherine and Claire. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his companion of many years Betty Storm in 2005. Visitation will be Tuesday October 22, 2013 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at DeVoe Funeral Service 136 W.
