Obituary of Earl McKinnis

Earl McKinnis 87 of Port Murray N.J. died Sunday August 17th in his home. He was born in Macol SC November 1, 1926. He was the son of the late Belton and Hannah (Dove) McKinnis. Earl was last employed as a greeter for Walmart. He had retired from American Can Co in /Washington NJ. Earlier he had worked for the Warren County Public Health. He served in the US Army during World War 2 deployed in the European Theater. Earl had lived in Port Murray for the past 49 years coming from East Orange NJ. He had been a Head Usher at the Trinty Temple Youth Usher Board in Newark NJ. He was a Deacon and Elder at the Hillcrest 7 Day adventist Church in Port Murray NJ. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Carolyn (Williams), two sons Tyrone E McKinnis of Port Murray and Syhei McKinnis of Easton PA, a daughter Paula McKinnis of Port Murray NJ and Gia McKinnis of Baltimore MD. He is predeceased by three brothers, Robert, Ervin and James and a grandson Denerd. A Memorial Service is scheduled 4 PM Saturday August 23, 2014 in the Hillcrest 7 day Adventist Church rte 57 Port Murray.
