Obituary of Dorothy Fox

Dorothy Fox, 90, who for the last 8 months resided with her daughter Verabee, died on December 7, 2007 in Warren Hospital. Born on January 20, 1917, she resided most of her life in Oxford NJ. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Ida O'Smith Hendershot. Before retiring in 1979, She had been an assembler and a packer for the Oxwall Tool and Dye in Oxford NJ for over 26 years. Memberships: Dorothy was a Charter Member of the Oxford Fire Company's Ladies Auxiliary. Her loving husband Frederick preceded her in death in the year 2000. Before his passing, they had been together for over 65 years. Survivors: Her loving family includes 3 Daughters, Audrey Vallari, of Bangor PA, Verabee Windenor and Sondra DeCesare both of Riverton NJ, 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and a host of Great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren. A daughter Joyce Wood in 2004 and a grandson predeceased her. Dorothy was the last of 8 brothers and sisters. Services: Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 pm in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ. Family and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from noon until time of service.
