The Kries family and the panther family send our condolences to you and your family. i attended the services today and it took awhile to walk in and not break down in tears. The pictures allowed me to remember the good times coaching him, and being around him what a great kid he was. I loved him as a player because he was 70 pound offensive guard and it do not matter, what a stud and a leader. When all the coaches get together and talk about that season ( the best season that can never be duplicated) Buddys name always comes up. He was a leader a friend and with the heart of a lion. To this day when we practice with our lineman, and we have a 150 pound kid that can not block We talk about buddy our 70 or 80 pound guard that took care of business our stud. I had the privilege to coach him for many seasons and many sports . what a great kid and a great family. I know it does not ease the pain,but the panther family and the Kries family feel prevliged to have known and been involved with Buddy.Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Like his grandfaughter he will always be remembered in the cubs/panther family.
