Obituary of Daniel DuChemin
Daniel Thomas DuChemin, 45, of Andover, NJ, went home with to be with his Lord and Savior on May 7, 2009 after a courageous battle with colon cancer.
Dan was born December 7, 1963 in Glen Ridge, NJ, a son of Thomas W. and the late Nancy (VanWinkle) DuChemin. Dan grew up in Bloomfield and Budd Lake, NJ. He was a graduate of Mount Olive High School, a licensed electrician and the owner of Electric Express, Inc. for 20 years. Dan will always be remembered for his honest, diligent work ethic. Dan loved collecting trains and cars. Dan's greatest joy came from being a loving and devoted Father and cherished time spent with his children . His life was an example of God's loving kindness, gentleness, and faithfulness.
Dan is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Nancy (Minikus) DuChemin, of Andover; a daughter, Kelsey; a son Nicholas, both at home; his father, Thomas of TN; a brother, James of Budd Lake, NJ; two sisters: Linda Olsen of GA and Jennifer Chung of Seattle, WA.
Friends may call Monday from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm at Abundant Life Church, 21Cherry Tree Bend Rd., Port Murray, NJ. A funeral service will follow at the church. Interment will be held after the service in Port Murray Cemetery, Port Murray, NJ.
