Obituary of James Kimble
James L. Kimble, 73, of Washington, NJ, died Sunday, January 11, 2009 in the Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ. James was born August 29, 1935 in Anderson, NJ, a son of the late Charles Nicholas and the late Marie Rose (Parks) Kimble. He was the husband of Evelyn Metcalf Kimble. James was retired from the Warren County Road Department where he worked as a heavy equipment operator for 34 years. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He also loved to take trips to Atlantic City.
Survivors: James is survived by his wife, Evelyn Kimble; a daughter, Patricia and her husband William Kober; a son Mark and his wife Lisa Kimble; two granddaughters, Angela Rose and Natalie Rose Kimble; a grandson, Christopher Kober; a brother, John Kimble and several nieces, nephews and brothers- and sisters-in-law. In addition to his parents, a son James R. Kimble in 1978 and two brothers, Charles and Thomas Kimble died earlier
Services: Family and friends may call on the family on Wednesday from 6:30 â 9:00 pm at DeVoe Funeral Service Inc., 136 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be Thursday at 11:00 in Bloomsbury Cemetery, Bloomsbury, NJ.
