Obituary of Jeanne Smith

Jeanne Frances Smith 71 of Oxford NJ died January2, 2014in St Lukes Fountain Hill PA. She was born in Phillipsburg NJ April 5th 1942. She was the daughter of the late John and Eugenia Pels Esposito. Jeanne graduate from Phillipsburg Catholic High School in Phillipsburg NJ. She went to work at Oxford Textile in Oxford NJ where she met and married her husband Allen. The couple recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. She was a Co-Owner of 1Lap2Go, an on line sales store. She was a former LPN and worked for Heath Village, Warren Haven and lastly as a Private Duty Nurse. In High School, she was a member of the Marching Band. She was a former Cub Scout Master in Oxford. Jeanne enjoyed her trips to the Beach and loved going to the Casinos. She was a member of St Rose of Lima Church in Oxford NJ. Surviving her is her loving husband of 50 years Allen Smith Sr., sons, Allen Jr and his wife Donna of Hamilton NJ, and Eric Smith in Oxford NJ, a daughter Laurie Lynch and her husband Michael of Lopatcong Twp NJ, a brother Jack of Belvidere NJ, a sister Sylvia Sttaccia of Kansas, and 5 grandchildren, Shannon, Savannah, Kelly, Michael and Matthew. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11AM in the St Rose of Lima Catholic Church Academy Street Oxford NJ. Interment to follow in the St Rose Cemetery.
