Obituary of Thomas Polachak

Thomas N. Polachak, 68, of Washington, NJ passed away on November 2, 2014 in Wilkes Barre Veteran's Hospital. Thomas was born to George and Helen (Macherko) Polachak on August 31, 1946 in Hazelton, PA. He attended Washington High School graduating in 1964. He served in the US Army with the Army Corp of Engineers as a combat Engineer. He was then employed at Otis Air Force Base in Fouthmath, MA as an Air Traffic Controller. He loved hunting, wood working, target shooting, and muscle cars. He was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his son Thomas and his wife Amy of Easton, PA.; by his daughter Ginger Polachak of Easton, PA. He is also survived by his sisters Helen Musolino of St. Charles, IL, Joan Cooper of Washington, NJ, and Sylvia Nerino of St. Charles, IL. Thomas is survived by his granddaughter Madeline Polachak. He was predeceased by a brother George. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Cremation will be held at H.G. Smith Crematory.
