Obituary of Aviard Wilson

Aviard “ Butch” Wilson, Jr., 61, of Washington, NJ passed away on December 26, 2011. Butch was born on March 10, 1950 in Flushing, NY. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Aviard Sr.and Mary ( nee McNulty) Wilson. Butch was a 1969 graduate of Central Regional High School, Bayville, NJ. Butch was a devoted and loving husband, brother, father and grandfather, who dedicated his life to providing a stable and nurturing home. Butch matched his love for family with a strong will and honorable work ethic. He set an example by deed, not by word, and taught us all about life, love, and friendship. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years; Debra Wilson. He is also survived by three sons; Thomas Wilson of Ewing, NJ, Cory Wilson of Alexandria, VA, and Michael Wilson of Largo, FL, two brothers; Patrick Wilson of CA, and Thomas Wilson of Beachwood, NJ, three sisters; Mary Wilks of MD, Deborah Gardner of Monmouth Junction, NJ, and Jolene Wilson of Salem, OR, and three grandchildren; Shelby, Gavin, and Luke. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
