Obituary of Aleksandra Olczak

Aleksandra Olczak 93, of Port Murray NJ died on Friday January 13th, 2017 in Hackettstown NJ. She was born in the Ukraine on April 27, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Tatina Tares. She has lived in Port Murray since 1969, coming from Paterson NJ. Aleksandra was a member of the Russian Ukraine Evangelical Baptist Church in Hackettstown NJ. She was a devoted Christian and an avid reader of the Bible. Her husband John Olczak preceded her in death. Surviving are a son George and wife Heather and two grandchildren Lydia and Christopher. She is also preceded in death by a son Peter Olczak, daughter Lila, brothers Ivan and George Tares. Visitation will be Wednesday January 18 from 7-9pm and Thursday January 19 from 10-11am in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave, Washington NJ. Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Thursday January 19th in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows NJ.
