Obituary of Peter Dymyd

Peter Dymyd, 68, passed away after a long illness, on Monday, June 16, 2008 at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ. He was born September 11, 1939 in Elizabeth, NJ the son of the late Peter Dymyd and the late Irene (Florczak) Knox. He proudly served in the Army. Peter was a member the Carpenters Resilient Flooring Local Union 2212, retiring after 38 years. Peter was the very cherished husband of the former Kathryn Rittershofer. He loved gardening and spending time with his family. Survivors: Along with his loving wife of 34 years, Kathryn, of Washington, he is survived by his son Michael Dymyd of Washington, NJ; his daughter Lauren Dymyd of Hamilton, NJ; and his brother Kenneth Knox. Services: Visitations will be at the DeVoe funeral home, 136 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ from 8:30 to 10:30 am Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, 6 Church St. Hampton, NJ.
