Obituary of Richard Engle

Richard A. Engle, 59, died suddenly while on vacation in the Dominican Republic on May 8, 2015. He died doing what he loved. Richard was born on April 8, 1956 to the late Frank and Ruth (Vetter) Engle in Phillipsburg, NJ. He graduated North Hunterdon High School in 1974 and became a welder with the Local Boilermaker Union 28. He loved to travel. He enjoyed scuba diving and owned many boats. He loved to hunt and fish. He fished on the river, lake and ice. Richard is survived by two sons; Eric Engle of Washington, NJ and Jason Engle also of Washington, NJ; 5 grandchildren Gage Engle, Krystal, Kaitlin, Kelsie, and Karissa. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Kassandra. A memorial service will be held Friday, May 22, 2014 from 4-7 pm at the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882.
