Obituary of Edna Kober

Edna Kober, 82 of White Township, NJ passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg,NJ. Edna was born on October 9, 1928 in Ossineke,MI. She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Natal (nee Lobert) Bloom. She was a cafeteria worker for White Township School, Belividere,NJ. Edna was a member and former Sunday School Teacher of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Washington,NJ. Edna was also a member of the Sewing group at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. She is survived by her loving husband, Erwin Kober. Three sons; Edward Kober or Easton, PA, Alan Kober of Bangor, and William Kober of Phillipsburg, a brother; Henry Bloom of Michigan, 5 grandchildren; Ashley, Nathanal, Anthony, Christopher, and Kevin. Visitation will be Saturday, January 15 at DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc. 136 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ from 9:30-10:30 a.m. followed by a service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow service and be held at Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton, NJ.
