Obituary of Richard W Cooper

Richard W. Cooper, 58, of Raritan, NJ passed away on July 25, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center. Richard was the son of the late William Charles and Carolyn (Hann) Cooper, Sr. born on October 23, 1957 in Phillipsburg, NJ. Richard graduated from Warren Hills High School in 1975. He was employed at Somerset Recycle in Somerset, NJ as a plant worker. He was a big fan of Nascar. He is survived by his sister Wendy Cooper of Las Vegas, NV; his brothers William Charles Cooper, Jr, Daniel Wesley Cooper, Gary Walter Cooper; step-brothers Bruce Strait, Jr and Kevin Strait; and his step-father Bruce Strait, Sr. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother Thomas Wayne Cooper. A Memorial Service will be on September 18, 2015 at 1pm at DeVoe Funeral Service 136 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. Cremation was held at the H.G. Smith Crematory in Stroudsburg, PA. In lieu of flowers please send memorials to The American Cancer Society in memory of Richard’s mother Carolyn.
