Obituary of Frederick Becton

Frederick "Lee" Becton, 73,a resident of Hampton, NJ for 40+ years, died suddenly at Hunterdon Medical Center on May 16, 2015. Frederick was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 3, 1941 to Sheila Fraser. He was a graduate of North Hunterdon High School and went on to become a heavy equipment operator for the Local 825 Engineer. He was a member of the Glen Gardner VFW Post. He love hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his grandson. He was of the Methodist faith. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Congetta "Connie" Becton of Hampton, NJ; a son Frederick Lee and his wife Denise of Broadway, NJ; a brother Dennis and his wife Stella of Sewell, NJ; his grandson David Becton of Broadway, NJ and a step-granddaughter Hana Cicerelle. A viewing will be held on Wednesday May 20, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday May 21, 2015 at 11 am also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at the Musconetcong Valley Cemetery.
