Obituary of Ruth Charity

Ruth Charity, 82 of Washington, NJ passed away on Monday, October 17, 2011 at Old Orchard Health Care Center, Easton, PA. Ruth was born on July 28, 1929 in Passiac, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. Russell and Ann ( nee Stofer) Pearson. Ruth was a member of Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall, Phillipsburg, NJ. She was predeceased by her loving husband George Charity in 1988. She is survived by two sons; Jim Charity of Bethlehem, PA, Donald Charity of England, a daughter; Nancy Charity of NJ, two brothers; Andrew and Leo Pearson of Oxford, NJ, a sister; Annette Vasko of Oxford, NJ, five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by a brother; William Pearson. A service will be held at 1:00 p.m.on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
