Obituary of Sharon McDonald

Sharon E. McDonald, 51, of Oxford, NJ died Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at her home with her loving children by her side. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ on October 6, 1962. She was the daughter of the late William and Eileen Netta Nelson. Sharon was a hair stylist for many years. She recently worked at Warren Haven in Oxford, NJ and for the last 3 years at Creations Unlimited in Washington, NJ. She was a one time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington, NJ. She lit up the room with her personality. Her three children were her world. She also loved cooking, family and her friends. Surviving Sharon are her son Thomas "TJ" Dreissig of Linden, NJ, two daughters, Samantha L. Dreissig and Brianna E. McDonald both at home, a brother and sister in law Michael Lynn Netta of Cranberry, MA. A brother in law and sister in law Bernie and Kathy Zofcin of Linden, NJ. Four nieces and one nephew and her best friends Mary and Patti. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 7, 2014 at DeVoe Funeral Home at 136 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ (www.devoefuneral.com).
