Obituary of Jonathan R Walsh
Jonathan R. Walsh, 35, of Hackettstown, NJ formerly a lifelong resident of port Murray, NJ, passed away at home on June, 30, 2016 with his girlfriend Dena (Dee) by his side with whom he resided.
Jon was born in Phillipsburg, NJ on August 12,1980, the beloved son of Jack Walsh and partner Dottie Houston (Ma) of PA and Kimberly Walsh-Wiegand (nee Anema) and husband John of NY.
Jon loved his children, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, motorcycles, quads, and Nascar. He loved dirt track racing with his brother Jay. He had a deep passion for his work. He was the master of many trades. He loved people and had a huge heart. He last worked as a super for an apartment complex in which he lived. He was much more than that to the owner Jack. He took care of everything; morning, noon or night. He kept the grounds beautiful. He worked a round the clock job so in his spare time he would take in a movie or enjoy the outdoors. He would simply enjoy cooking and eating dinner with Dee. He was happy hanging around because a lot of people counted on him and he was always there when needed. He will be sadly and greatly missed by so many.
He is also survived by his beloved children Ryeleigh, Jonathan and Jameson all of Oxford, NJ; a brother Jason (Jay) and his wife Mary Walsh; nephews Brandon, Bryce, Brent and neice Brooke; his grandmother Carol Anema of PA; grandparents Robert and Minerva Walsh also of PA; his partner Dena (Dee) Bacchetta; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceeded in death by his grandfather Ralph Anema.
A memorial service will be celebrated on Friday July 8, 2016 at 11 am at the DeVoe Funeral Service. Cremation was held at the H.G. Smith Crematory Stroudsburg, PA.
