Obituary of Pierce Nichols

Pierce E. Nichols, 75, of Palmer Township, PA died Friday, September 3, 2010 at home. Pierce was born December 14, 1934 in Buckland, MA the son of the late Everett and the late Mae (Winegar) Nichols. He proudly served for four years in the Navy during the Korean War and then four more years in the Air Force. He was employed at various jobs as a mechanic and truck driver before retiring. Pierce enjoyed restoring classic cars, hunting and watching Nascar. He is survived by one son, Tracey and his wife Peggy Nichols of Caribou, ME and one daughter, Tammi Nichols-Myer of Phillipsburg, NJ; five granddaughters, Casey and Michelle Nichols of Caribou, ME and Anna Marie, Sara Elizabeth, and Jena Lynn Myer of Phillipsburg, NJ; also Sheila Nichols, Phillipsburg, NJ.
