Winifred Cyphers of Port Murray, NJ died Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Easton Hospital, Wilson Boro, PA at the age of 85. Born May 10, 1922 in Bushkill, PA, she was the Daughter of the late Harry and the late Sadie Moser Arnold. Retired in 1987 from Leacock Company, Washington, NJ Before that, She was a manager/supervisor of the cafeteria in the Mansfield Twp Elementary School in Port Murray. She was Predeceased by her Husband, Harry Cyphers in 2004, and Sister, Madeline Smith. Memberships: Member of Anderson United Methodist Church, member of the Anderson United Methodist Church Women where she was a Sunday School Teacher, Treasurer, and on the Board of Trustees; member of The Mother's Club of Anderson, NJ. She graduated from Nazareth High School in 1941. Survivors: Daughter, Carol Sawyer of Port Murray, NJ; Son, Harry D. Cyphers & wife Stella of Bangor, PA; 7 Grandchildren, Dennis & Kimberly Cyphers, Bruce, Brian & Gary Eckhardt, Dennis Sawyer and Kimberly Damian; and 20 Great Grandchildren. Services: Friends may call Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. at DeVoe Funeral Services, Inc., 136 W. Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:00 am at DeVoe Funeral Service Inc. Interment will be Saturday in Port Murray Cemetery, Port Murray, NJ.
