Obituary of Mabel Elizabeth Kauffman

Mabel E. Kauffman passed away peacefully on May 18, 2019 at Warren Haven Nursing Home, Oxford, New Jersey.

Mabel was born on April 17,1923 to the late John and Katherine Parke in Lancaster, PA.

Her proudest achievement was her military service in the Army Dental Corps in World War II. Mabel later retired from M&M Mars in Hackettstown, NJ.

Mabel was the wife of William Teel Kauffman who preceded her in death. She is survived by daughters Barbara, Patricia, Sandra Jeannine, Kathryn, nine grandchildren and thirteen  great grand children. Mabel was the last survivor of sixteen siblings.


In keeping with Mabel’s wishes, a private graveside service will be held at a later date.

The Kauffman family would like to thank Warren Haven Nursing Home and Compassionate Care Hospice for their loving care and kindness to Mabel.

The DeVoe Funeral Service has been entrusted with her arrangements.
