Obituary of Richard Rinehart

Richard "Dick" G. Rinehart, 76, of Washington, New Jersey passed away on Friday, August 24, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. Richard was born on December 28, 1935 in Easton, PA. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Floyd and Alverna (nee Kinneyman) Rinehart. Dick had worked for Busch Dairy, Washington, NJ years ago and had retired as a union laborer for Local # 569, Washington, NJ. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid New York Jets football fan as well as the New York Mets baseball fan. Dick had attended the Port Colden United Methodist Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Helen " Tootie" Blazier Rinehart. He is also survived by four sons; Richard Jr. and wife Patricia of Stewartsville, NJ, Scott and wife Sandra of Livingston, MT, Paul and wife Kim of Washington, NJ and Randy Folks of Washington, NJ, daughters; Fonda Rinehart of Washington, NJ, Karen and late Larry Farrell, Debra and husband Fred Hoffman of Port Murray, NJ, and Laura and late Art Burd of Washington, NJ, fourteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Bonnie Garland, and two brothers, Robert and Preston. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Living Word Fellowship Church, 51 North Lincoln Ave. Washington, NJ.
