Obituary of Michelle Lynn Charles

Michelle Melberger Charles, 51. A life- long resident of Oxford NJ passed away at her home after a long illness. On Friday June 28th Jesus came with his loving arms to take her home.

 As a child she was in Brownies and Girl Scouts. She graduated from Warren County Technical School in 1986. She studied Data Processing and played basketball.

She worked for Schneider’s Kitchens in Washington NJ, Warren Haven in Oxford NJ, the Busy Bee in Oxford NJ and she had her own business called “Two Sisters Cleaning”.

She was a member of the Oxford Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Oxford Emergency Squad Support team.

Michelle loved all animals, especially her Pitbull “Bo” and her beloved “Peachy”.

She is survived by her loving mother Ruth Wolf Melberger, her son Brandon Lacey, sister Lisa Melberger, brothers Steven Jennings and Donald Jennings. She was a loving aunt to Jennifer Davis, Stephanie Davis, Richard Remig, Philip Remig and Ashley Remig. A great aunt to Christina Pene and Aiden Bachman. Cousins Jeffery Melberger and his wife Lisa, Barbara Melberger Shields and many more. She is also survived by her loving friend Tom Feggulis, “Aunt” Kate Mikolon and the Martinez family.

She was preceded in death by her father Gary Melberger, a great aunt Margaret Nunn and her aunt Mary Lou Ames.

Those who loved her will remember Michelle took the side of the underdog and those in need. Her compassion and kindness will live on in the memories her loved ones will cherish.

Michelle requested no services. But she would like her memory to live on through donations to the Oxford Fire Department or the Oxford Emergency Squad.

The DeVoe Funeral Service in Washington NJ has been entrusted with her arrangements.
