Obituary of Steven Kadi

Steven G. Kadi, 73 of Washington, NJ passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at The University of Penn Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. Steven was born on August 19, 1938 in Easton, PA. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Steven and Margaret ( nee Nagy) Kadi. Steven was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School in 1956 and a graduate of Trenton Junior College in 1963. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Washington, NJ. Steven loved fishing, wood working, reading, and dancing. Steven worked for BASF, Washington, NJ in quality control for 34 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years; Carol K. Kadi. He is also survived by two sons; Steven F. Kadi and wife Lucia of Ringwood, NJ and Thomas Kadi and significant other; Jeanne Planthaber of Easton, PA a daughter; Joan M. Riley and husband Herman of Alpha, NJ, one step-son; Joseph M. Weirsky and wife Kristy of Alexandria, VA, a step-daughter; Michele D. Murray and husband Jon of Mays Landing, NJ, a brother; Frank Kadi and wife Mary Lou of Pittsburgh, PA, six granchildren; Samantha, Christopher, Tyler, Alex, Brandi and Rebecca, and two-step granchildren; Gabrielle and JC.
