Obituary of Helen M. Ritzer

Obituary Helen Mary Ritzer, age 91, of Washington, NJ, went home to heaven on Tuesday, February 9, 2016. She was the widow of William Chester Ritzer who passed away in 2003. They were married for 56 years. One of eleven children, Helen was born on February 19, 1924 to Stanley and Teofila (Paremba) Smolenski of Oxford NJ. She is survived by nieces, nephews, three brothers and two sisters-in-law -- Chester and wife Darlene, Alex and wife Julia, and John, widower of Eleanor. Her siblings Anna, Benjamin, Stella, Pete, Sophie, Joseph, Felix are deceased. An 8th grade graduate of Oxford Central School, Helen worked, years ago, in three local hosieries and for the war effort in the former Oxwall factory in Oxford, NJ. She loved family reunions, flowers, teddy bears, sunsets and the color red. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.
