Obituary of Marie Jarus Munniksma

Marie Jurus Munniksma, 90, passed away at Warren Haven Nursing Home on September 24, 2015. She was born in Germany on February 27, 1925 to the late Tadaus and Waleriea Jarus (Paurowicz). She and her husband moved in 1953 from Pingjum Holland to the USA and settled in Mansfield Township. Marie was a farmer’s wife and housewife. She was married to the late Ane (Andy) Munniksma who passed away on April 3, 1995. Marie is survived by two sons George “Dutch” Munniksma and his wife Mary Ann, Ted and his wife Ann Marie; daughters, Valerie Kiermaier and her husband Mike and Tina Kerdandall and her husband Ray; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers Walter, Bruno, Tadaus, and Edward and her sisters Gertrude, Hanna, and Alaina. A viewing will be held on Monday September 28, 2015 from 10-11 am at the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882 with a funeral service to follow at 11 am.
