John “Jake” H. Hoser, 20 formerly of Franklin Township, NJ, of Route 309, Schnecksville, PA, died Saturday in Leesburg, FL. John was born July 25, 1988 in Allentown, PA, a son of Jeffrey and Sandra (Layton) Hoser. He graduated from Warren Hills in 2007. He was a member of the Warren County Fire Station 57 Franklin Township Fire Co in Franklin Twp NJ . John was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed hunting. Survivors:John is survived by his parents Jeffrey and Sandra Hoser of Stewartsville, NJ; two brothers Michael and Matthew Hoser of New Village; his maternal grandmother, Jean Layton of Allentown, PA; and his paternal grandparents, John and Dorothy Hoser of New Village, NJ; three aunts, two uncles and four cousins. Along with those mentioned, John will be missed by many friends. Services: Friends may call on Thursday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at DeVoe Funeral Service Inc., 136 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ. A funeral service will be held Friday at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Montana Cemetery, Harmony Twp. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to Franklin Township Fire Department, PO Box 43 Broadway, NJ 08808 or the Franklin Township Rescue Squad, PO Box 224, Broadway, NJ 08808. I never saw him harm or verbally abuse his fellow campers, and always keeping a eye on the younger ones.He was always interested in learning, growing and becoming more informed about any topic we would talk about. He had incredible pride being with the Fire Company he belonged with, and every time I spoke with him, he expressed he would have liked to been able to do more. We will miss you beyond anyone's idea, and you will be missed and remembered always. We know your in a better and happier place now.Our prayers and support are with you and your family.
