Obituary of Harriet Hampton

Mt. Bethel, PA. - Harriet M. " Sis" Hampton 64 Formerly of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully at her home Friday July 5, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Born October 10, 1948 in Bloomsbury, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Hilda Mae (Mowery) and Phillip Harper. Harriet wed her beloved husband Randy in 1983 and together they enjoyed 29 wonderful years. On September 2, 2013 they would have celebrated their 30th Wedding Anniversary. "Sis" worked for many years for Dr. Cesar Ravanzo in the Washington, Phillipsburg and Belvidere, NJ offices. In later years she was employed by Dr. Sten Kjellberg in Phillipsburg, NJ. Harriet adored her family, friends and her walks with her dog Cody . She enjoyed bowling, the Yankees and loved her very extensive cow collection. " Sis" is survived by her loving husband Randy, daughter Melissa Fulper of Blairstown, son Randy Jr. and wife Sharon of Phillipsburg , a sister Edie Gittins and husband Dave of Washington, NJ , brothers Bob Harper and wife Karey of New Mexico , Pete Harper and wife Sharon of Washington Twp. , two Grandchildren Sean and Brianna Hampton of Phillipsburg , her Godson David Scott Gittins of Washington, many nieces, nephews and friends that she loved very much. She will be dearly missed by everyone and forever in their hearts. A memorial service will be held on Friday July 12, 2013 from 6-8 PM at DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc. 136 W. Washington Ave. , Washington, NJ 07882. Interment will be private at the family's request.
