Sharon, Chris and Brian, We are saddened by this news and our prayers are with you. We know John is resting peacefully. During all the years we have known John and his family, we were always in awe of what a great Dad he was. Always finding time to do fun things with the boys, keeping up with them every step of the way! Biking, skiing, hiking, scouts, swinging from the rope at Penwell Mills, to name a few! And as a neighbor he came to our rescue more than once. From getting a single string of lights back on in a tree of over 1,000 lights, to car fixes and any other household dilemma we managed to get into. John used his many skills to help others in need when he travel to West Virginia with the Youth Group. My son, Brian and several of their friends have great memories from those trips. We will miss our neighbor and friend and will think of him whenever we are exploring the great outdoors which he loved to do.

Dear Sharon and Family: I am so glad that I had the opportunity to know John from the BT support group meetings and holiday parties. I will always remember John's strong fighting spirit no matter what he was battling, big smile, cute bald head, and dry wit (he would make me laugh so hard).
