Obituary of Gerard Battles

Jerry Battles 76 of Mansfield Twp. NJ, passed away suddenly on Wednesday May 19 at home. A talented carpenter, Jerry was born in Paterson NJ September 23, 1933. He was a salesman at Sears in the Phillipsburg Mall, then a groundskeeper and also the Restaurant Manager at Apple Mountain Golf Course in Oxford NJ, and a Starter at Hawke Point Country Club in Washington NJ. He loved golfing with his many friends and celebrated a Hole in One in June 2009. For over 20 years Jerry lived on Valley Road in Mansfield Twp. NJ with his companion Grace Castner, who past way last month. A fan of Gardening, Jerry completed a tribute garden to Gracie, a few days ago. He is survived by Alexis, Chip and Debbie Castner and his beloved dog Jingle Bells. Services will be private.
