Obituary of Judy Cook

Judy K. Cook of Bear Creek Pa, formerly of Washington NJ died on January 31, 2007 in the Heritage House Hospice Care in Wilkes Barre Pa at the age of 69. Born in Englewood NJ on May 16, 1937. She was the daughter of the late John and Ernestine Pini Baratto. Judy had worked as a Lab Serologist for Johnson and Johnson in Raritan NJ. She was a 1954 Graduate of Washington High School in Washington. Coming from Washington NJ Her and her husband moved to Bear Creek 12 years ago. She enjoyed Traveling and was diligent in helping to raise funds for the local M.S. Chapter. Judy was of Catholic faith. Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her husband George whom she was married to for 49 years, two daughters Jody Dodge of Forks Townships PA and Rosemarie Black of Washington NJ, 3 sisters, Maryann Milewski of East Stroudsburg PA, Anna Rollo of Landing NJ, and Betty Shernce of Stanhope NJ, and 4 grandchildren Lauren and Kelly Bunting, and Ashley and Frank Black. A sister Joan Simard preceded her in death. Services: Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 5:30PM in the DeVoe Funeral Services, Inc. 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ. Family and friends are invited to call from 3:30-5:30 pm on Saturday.
