Obituary of Agnes Mooney

Agnes E Mooney 87 of Oxford NJ died peacefully November 17th in Warren Haven. She was born in Oxford NJ June 23, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Matthew and Mary Sexton Mooney. Agnes had been a Caregiver, taking care of her sisters when they became ill. In her earlier years she had been a Teacher's Aide at a private school in Oxford NJ. She was a longtime member of St Rose Of Lima Catholic Church in Oxford. Agnes had been very active in the churches Alter Rosary Society, as well as the Seniors club. She is survived by two sisters, Ann Kappler of Oxford, and Helen Butler of Hampton NJ as well as numerous Nephew, Nieces , grand nieces and grand nephews. Agnes is predeceased by her brother Matthew, and sisters, Mary Mooney, Carolyn Mooney and Margaret Zanks. Visitation will be on Friday from 6-8 pm in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave, Washington NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM in the St Rose of Lima Catholic Church Academy Street, Oxford NJ 07863. Interment to follow at the St Rose of Lima Cemetery.
