Obituary of Charles Bischof

Charles Bischof, age 79, of Hackettstown died Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Heath Village of Washington Township, NJ. Charles was born October 29, 1930 in New York City, NY a son of the late Charles and the late Emma (Hoppi) Bischof. He proudly served in the Navy during the Korean War from 1951 to 1955. He was employed by Prudential Insurance Company, Morris Plains, NJ as a Sales Manager. Charles was a past member of the Masonic Lodge, Livingston NJ and the American Legion, Hackettstown, NJ. Charles was predeceased by his wife, Deanne in 1999. He is survived by one daughter, Christine Nething of Hackettstown, NJ; wo sons: Steven Bischof of Strathan, NH, and Charles Bischof of DelRay, CA and five grandchildren. A private cremation service will beheld in H.G. Smith Crematory. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeVoe Funeral Services, Inc. 136 W. Washington Ave., Washington NJ 07882.
