Obituary of Cindy Trimmer

Cindy Lynn Trimmer, 54, of Washington, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, October 12, 2012 after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in June. Cindy was born on May 21, 1958 and was the daughter of the late Clela and Nelson Trimmer. Cindy was a lifelong resident of Washington and worked at the Washington Public Library for 19 years. Cindy adored her job at the library and the friends she made there.When she wasn't at the library, Cindy loved to read, garden, craft, and listen to country music. Cindy was an extremely thoughtful person and her family will not be the same without her. Cindy is survived by her husband, Paul Werner of Washington, her daughter, Sarah Trimmer of Forks Township, PA, and her stepson Paul Hockenbury of Phillipsburg. In addition, Cindy leaves behind five siblings: Randy Hampton and his wife Harriet of Mount Bethel, PA; Clela Davie and her husband Robert of Port Murray, NJ; Wendy Trimmer and her fiancé Mark Erdie of Belvidere, NJ; Carol Bell and her husband Richard of Washington; and Nelson Trimmer of Washington. Cindy is also survived by her mother in law, Frieda Werner, two brothers in law, Jack Werner and Bob Werner, and two sisters in law, Pat Werner and Siegrid Werner, all of Washington. Cindy is also survived by several nieces and nephews that she loved very much. Cindy was predeceased by her ex-husband and long time friend, John Bogli last year. In lieu of flowers, Cindy wishes were for donations to be made to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice as she received excellent care from Dawn, Denise, Jo, and Steve since her diagnosis in June or to Warren Hills Animal Society, 88 West Stewart Street Washington, NJ 07882. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
