Tribute from: J. Michael Belser I am deeply saddened to learn of Doug's passing. My heartfelt condolences are extended to you; his family. Doug and I were fraternity brothers at Wittenberg University in the early 70's. We also shared an apartment during the summer of '72. I will always remember Doug for his zest for life. He was always ready for a party, smart as a whip, and not afraid of hard work or difficult challenges. We had just re-established contact with one another in the last couple of years. Doug had issued me a standing lunch invitation for when my travels took me to Washington, NJ. It's painful that this didn't happen, especially since I only live in the Philly suburbs. Nevertheless, Doug Dashine was a good man and friend, gone to early. Rest in peace, old friend! Mike
