Obituary of Nancy Lee Maiella
Nancy L. Maiella, 80 of Bethlehem Twp PA, formerly of Brigantine NJ, Washington NJ and Newark NJ, went home to be with our Lord on December 25, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Newark NJ on September 11, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Charles Plantier and the late Virginia Miller Carsey.
She graduated Barringer High School in Newark and attended Centenary College in Hackettstown earning a degree in bookkeeping.
Nancy was a former Bookkeeper for the M & M Mars Corporation in Hackettstown NJ retiring several years ago.
She enjoyed reading and going to casinos to play the slots. But most of all she loved being a mother, a grandmother and great grandmother.
Surviving are her husband of 61 years Anthony Maiella, sons; Matthew and his wife Maureen of Bethlehem Twp PA, Anthony Maiella of Washington, NJ, a daughter; Adriane Stroppa of Bethlehem Twp. PA., brothers; Thomas Plantier and his wife Joan of Allentown PA, Albert Carsey and his wife Lillian of Washington, NJ and Johnny Carsey and his wife Janice of Woodbridge, NJ, grandchildren; Mike Stroppa and Gayle Wrona, Stephanie and her husband Marc Kline, and Lee and Chandra Pyle; great grandchildren, Mia, Michael and one on the way (Jack) along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Visitation will be Thursday December 28th from 6-9PM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ 07882. Funeral Service on Friday December 29th at 11AM in the Funeral home. Interment to follow in the Montana Cemetery.
