Obituary of Irene Hahn

Irene S. Hahn (1916-2012) entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 7, 2012. Her roots ran deep and she never moved more than half mile from the place of her birth. She helped support her family by working at a local hosiery at the tender age of fourteen. She lived through seventeen US presidents, two world wars and countless amazing historical moments in US history. She married Albert Hahn in 1940 who preceded her in death in 1974. They raised three children, Richard ( Anne), Robert ( Anna) and Kathleen ( Rob). She has five grandchildren, Gregory, Lisa, Susan, Nicholas and Ashlee and two great-grandchildren, Alexis and Carlee, a brother, Edward Nagy. She is predeceased by two brothers; Joseph and Nicholas Nagy. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be held at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc. in Washington, NJ on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery, Oxford, NJ.
