Obituary of Louise Jones

Louise Jones, 83 of the village of Anderson of Mansfield Township, NJ passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ. Louise was born on May 1, 1928 in Henry County, AL. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Moose and Katy ( nee Koonce) Freeman. Louise was a machine operator for American Can Company. She was a long time member the 1st Baptist Church of Anderson, NJ. She is survived by her son; Carl Jones of Durham, NC, two daughters; Deborah L. Murphy of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Arvelya A. Jordan and husband Michael of Washington, NJ, three grandchildren; Erica Jones, Carl Jones Jr., and Joseph Murphy, six great-granchildren, and one-great-great grandchild. She is predeceased by two sons; Charles and Aaron, a daughter; Tootsie, and a grandson; Christopher S. Murphy. A visitation will be from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 P.M. at the 1st Baptist Church of Anderson on Saturday, June 11, 2011. A service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the church. An interment will be held at Summerfield Cemetery, White Township, NJ. In Louise’s memory donations to Joslin Diabetes Center, Development Office, One Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215.
