Obituary of Kathleen Winne Martowicz

Kathleen Winne Martowicz 48, a Winfield Park NJ native, of White Twp NJ, died Tuesday February 13, 2018 at her home with her husband by her side.

She was born in Elizabeth NJ, the daughter of the late Edward and Marianne Mellett Winne.

Katy was employed as a cashier at Rite Aid in Washington NJ for a brief period before her illness. She served as a member of the White Twp School Board.

She was a veteran ovarian cancer survivor from 2007 and was cancer free until 2016 when she began fighting Angiommunoblastic T-Cell Lymphoma.

Katy was a parishoner of St Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Oxford NJ where she also taught Catechism.

She is survived by her husband Joseph, two daughters, Sarah and Rachel, a son Jacob all at home; Two sisters, Maura of Basking Ridge NJ and Gayle of Charlotte NC, and a brother Brian of Bridgewater NJ.

Funeral services will be Friday at 10AM at the DeVoe Funeral Services 136 West Washington Ave, Washington NJ followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church 85 Academy Street Oxford NJ at 11AM. Interment to follow in the St Rose of Lima Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday February 15, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 in the Funeral Home.
