Obituary of William Reed

William A. Reed, 51, of Hackettstown died Thursday, August 26, 2010 at home. William was born March 23, 1959 in Phillipsburg, NJ a son of Betty Jane (Mowrey) and stepson to Robert McGunnigle. He was employed by Fraizer Tool, Long Valley as a Laborer. William was an avid music fan. He enjoyed cars, playing with his dog and a good game of chess. Along with his mother and stepfather, Betty and Robert McGunnigle of Hackettstown, he is survived by one daughter, Angela Ann Morris of Phillipsburg, NJ; four brothers, Donald Reed of Allentown, PA, Ronald Reed of Palmer Township, PA, Christopher McGunnigle of Hackettstown, NJ, and Jeff Hockenbury of Phillipsburg, NJ; six grandchildren, Brendan, Kelsey, ToniAnn, Sage, Destiny and Janet and a close friend Pat Raupp. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 3:00 - 4:00 pm at DeVoe Funeral Service Inc., 136 W. Washington Ave,, Washington, NJ. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Tuesday,at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton at 4:45 pm.
