Obituary of Catherine Zarra

Catherine Zarra 86 of Washington NJ, passed away on February 7, 2008 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, NJ. She was born in Newark, NJ, on May 15, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lena (nee- Paglia) Policastro. Catherine was an avid reader. During World War II Catherine worked as a Purchasing Agent for the Army/Air Force. Survivors: She is survived by her husband, Nicholas Zarra, of Bloomfield, NJ. In addition to Nicholas, she is survived by her four sons, Nicholas Zarra and his wife Linda of Point Pleasant, NJ, Joseph Zarra and his wife June of Ocean Township, NJ, Thomas Zarra and his wife Luanne of Point Pleasant, NJ and John Zarra and his wife Julia of Washington, NJ. Also, surviving are her two brothers, Peter Policastro of Glenn Falls, NY and Joseph Policastro of Lavalette, NJ, and two sisters, Glori Paccia of Bayville, NJ and Ann Marie Dominick of Maplewood, NJ, she is also survived by many grandchildren. Catherine will be missed by her loving family and friends. Services: Friends will be at DeVoe Funeral Services at 11:00 am. Immediately following, a graveside service will be held at Summerfield Cemetery, White Township, NJ. The DeVoe Funeral Services, Inc. 136 West Washington Ave, Washington NJ is in charge of his arrangements.
