Obituary of John Yves LeBihan

John Yves LeBihan 84, of Belvidere NJ died on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 in Warren St Lukes Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ. He was born January 4, 1933 in Pleyben France.  John was the son of the late Jean A. and Jeanne Briand. He was an Electrician and Maintenance Planner for 42 years for Hoffman LaRoche in Nutley, NJ and then Belvidere, NJ.  After retiring, he drove a bus for the Abilities of North West Jersey in Washington NJ. John served in the Korean War in the US Army stationed in Alaska. He was a long time member of the United Methodist Church in Washington, NJ., where he served as Trustee for many years overlooking the maintenance and care of the buildings. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge #36 F&AM where he served as Chaplain, Instructor, Master Mason and Treasurer. He was Grand Chaplain at the Grand Lodge. John loved Camping and was the ultimate Handyman. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara (Van De Mark) LeBihan, son Alan and his wife Holly (Thompson) of Brant Lake NY, daughters Michelle Biggs and her husband John of South Plainfield NJ and Yvonne Heitmann and her husband John of Hillsborough NJ; Nine Grandchildren, Michael, Ryan, Joshua, Laura, Elizabeth, John, Christopher, Cory and Gabrielle; and a great granddaughter, Kyla. A sister Yvonne Simon died earlier this year. Visitation and Services will be held on Saturday February 4th at the Washington United Methodist Church at 116 East Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ starting at 10:00 am.  Visitation will be followed by a Masonic Service at 10:40 am and a Memorial Service celebrating John’s life at 11:00 am.  A repast will be served at the church after the service. Memorials have been requested to the Masonic Charity Foundation 902 Jacksonville Rd, Burlington NJ 08016.
