Obituary of Alice Martin

Alice J. Martin, 74 of White Township, NJ passed away on August 24, 2011 at Hackettstown Regional Medical Ceneter, Hackettstown, NJ. Alice was born on October 22, 1936 in Oxford, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Earl and Gladys (nee Barrett) Martin. Alice bought and sold antiques and loved going to yard sales. She loved country music and taking care of people, she was very kindhearted. She is survived by a brother; Kenneth Martin of White Township, NJ, a nephew; Ralph McDermott, and two nieces; Sandra Fritz and Kathy Opdycke. She is predeceased by two brothers; Donald Martin and Carl Martin, and a sister; Grace McDermott. A service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. An interment will follow at Summerfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. The DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc. has been entrusted with her arrangements.
