Obituary of Helene Wagner

Helene A.G. Wagner 92 of Norwich NY, formerly of Washington NJ died on Saturday August 13th in Norwich. She was born in Great Meadows NJ October 23,1918. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Alberdina Nuisner Gild. A homemaker in her later years, Helene had worked at the formers Washington Hosiery, Vikon Tile, Tung Sol and Elco Hemming in Washington finally retiring in 1962. She had been a member of the Oxford Senior Citizens Club and a long time member of the Broadway Methodist Church in Broadway NJ Helene traveled extensively and visited most of the United States and Europe. She enjoyed cooking, Baking, knitting and sewing. Her loving husband Clarence preceded her in death in 1982. She is survived by her son Raymond of Mt Upton NY and a grandson Allen Jr. She is also preceded in death by a son Allen Allen , brothers Joe and William Gild and sister Wapgien Denisor. Her visitation will be Wednesday 1-2 PM followed by a funeral service at 2 in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ 07882.
