Obituary of Anne Faust

Anne Evanouskas Faust, 67, of Changewater, NJ, died March 5th in Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ with her daughter by her side. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on September 21, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Charley (1957) and Mary Vaskelis (1982) Evanouskas. She had worked as a Secretary for Westinghouse in Edison, NJ for 37 years. She had recently retired from her position as Church Secretary of Spruce Run Lutheran Church in Glen Gardner, NJ, which she held for over 20 years. As a member of the Spruce Run Lutheran Church she held several terms as President of the WELCA, and also served as Financial Secretary and Treasurer. Previously, she was a member of the Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Brunswick, NJ where she sang in the choir since the 8th grade. She lived in Changewater, NJ for the past 34 years where she was a member of the Township of Lebanon Historians. Her husband, the late Dr. Samuel D. Faust, preceded her in death in 1997. Her brother, Frank Evanouskas, also preceded her in death in 1999. Survivors: She is survived by her daughter Samantha and son-in-law Ross of Changewater, NJ; a granddaughter Elizabeth at home; two brothers - Edward and wife Marianne of St Petersburg, FL; and Carl and wife Joan of Old Bridge, NJ; a sister Eleanor Kover and husband William of Piscataway, NJ; and a sister-in-law Marianna of North Brunswick, NJ. Services: Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 9th, at 11AM at Spruce Run Lutheran Church, 442 West Hill Road, Glen Gardner, NJ. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, March 8th, from 3-8PM at the DeVoe Funeral Service, 136 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ 07882. The Interment will be private. Memorials: Samuel D.
