Ann Helen Burd of Washington, NJ died Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at Easton Hospital, Wilson Boro, PA. at the age of 74. Born July 7, 1931 in Phillipsburg, NJ she was the daughter of the late Alex and Mary (Kovacs) Bacskai. She was married to Guy N. Burd of Washington, NJ. Ann was an antique collector and loved shopping for them and other things. She was a very loved and respected lady of the community and will be sorely missed by all her loving family and many friends. She was a Packer/trainer, employed by Ortho Pharmaceutical In Somerville NJ. Memberships: Mrs. Burd was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. And a member of the Washington Fire Department Womens Auxilary. Survivors: her husband: Guy N. Burd, one daughter: Lu Ann Jankowski and husband, Joe of Washington, NJ and one son: Guy Burd of Washington, NJ Sister of one sister: Emma Anderson of Lopatcong Township, NJ and two brothers: George Basckai of Easton, PA and Joseph Basckai of Phillipsburg, NJ A Granddaughter, Kristen ; 4 Grandsons, Guy Jr, Michael, Anthony, Andrew ; A Great Grandson, Matthew ; 2 Great Granddaughters, Amanda & Meghan Predeceased by her deceased brother, Alex Bacskai, and a sister, Mary Force Services: Friends may call Sunday from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at DeVoe Funeral Service Inc., 136 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 200 West Carlton Avenue, Washington. Services are under the direction of the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc 136 W. Washington Ave., Washington, NJ Interment will be Monday in Montana Cemetery, Harmony Twp.
