Obituary of Hazel Glosser

Hazel E. Glosser, 87 of Washington, NJ passed away on March 15, 2011 at The Care Center of Lopatcong, Lopatcong Township, NJ. Hazel was born on July 23, 1923 in Harmony Township, NJ. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russel and Hattie (nee Osmund) Smith. Hazel was a Sunday School teacher for the United Methodist Church, Washington, NJ. She was a member of the Washignton Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Glosser in 2005. She is survived by two sons; William P. and wife Carol Glosser of White Township, NJ, Kevin and wife Nancy Glosser of Broadway, NJ, a daughter, Sandy and husband Joseph Bartha of NC, a brother; Gerald Smith of FL, 7 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren., and two great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one grandchild. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 10am until time of service. An inurnment will be held following the service at Mustconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hamtpon, NJ.
