Tributes: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Having had the pleasure to work for/with Joanne for two years at the Phillipsburg Staples store, I can sincerly say that she will be missed. She was a hard working and sweet person, full of energy and always willing to help. Joanne and I had a great friendship, and I personally will miss her greatly. God Bless you Joanne and Family! Nicholas Albanese Washington, NJ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My sincerest condolences are expressed to Tom and Joanne's family. I worked with Joanne for many years at the Rainbow Store in Easton, PA. She was one of the hardest woking, most dedicated people I've ever met. I shared many fun times with Joanne and have many wonderful memories of her, in particular her attendance at my college graduation. Even though we lost touch through the years I often thought of her and what a good friend she was. May you find comfort in your memories. I know I will. With deepest sympathy - Jenni (Hagenbuch) Parsons -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tribute from: Shelley Seip I had the pleasure of working with Joanne at the Ames in Washington, and loved her strength, courage and determination when faced with the most difficult situations. She helped me through many a rough time when I was transferred to a new store and always was there to listen and keep you motivated to succeed. Know I will miss calling you to talk about life and where I am these days. May God watch over Tom and your family during this time of great grief. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tribute from: Denise Gordon worked with Joanne at the Ames store in Washington. She was a great person, and her personality was an asset in the store for both customers and employees. We would talk about Georgia, as my daughter was in college at that time in Savannah. My condolences and deepest sympathy to her family. God Bless.. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tribute from: Rosemarie Davenport Joanne was my cousin and I've known her my whole life. She was my "big sister" since I had none of my own. We shared tears, pain, anger, joy, and laughter through our growing up years and cannot express how much she has taught me. She knew I loved her, but I don't know if she knew just how much I learned from her. She was my pillar, my calm in a storm and my guide through confusion. I will miss her very much. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
